She also loved plants and flowers and was a gifted baker – which her family greatly benefitted from! Carol was known for her quirky knickknacks, unique gifts, and love for animals. She wasn’t big into technology, but that didn’t stop her from shopping from her catalogs and infomercials.

When in Minnesota, Ron was a regular attendee at St. Michael Catholic Church as his faith was important to him. Humorous and kind, Ron loved entertaining family and friends with his jokes and was always ready for a social event. He enjoyed his golf leagues every week, playing cards with his family and friends, and especially sitting down to cheer on his favorite teams – the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabers.

I feel fortunate to have had conversations with Eileen following that find…..fun and full of giggles. Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of this grand lady. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 4-7PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 11AM with a visitation 1-hour prior at St. Michael Catholic Church, Prior Lake. Father Tom Walker will preside, and Eileen will be laid to rest at Credit River Cemetery.

Later on, Carol met Tom Deutsch while working at Theradyne and they were married on June 20, 1981 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jordan.
